MORE THAN AN AIRCRAFT…

The AW139 Helicopter features the characteristics that are superior to all of the mid-size, twin-engine helicopters, in terms of ability, speed, flight quality and passenger cabin area. With the capacity of carrying 2 pilots and maximum 15 passengers, the AW139 helicopter is designed to meet the expectations of those who want the best of everything.

With its modern and luxury design; latest-technology Honeywell electronic systems; and low noise level; the AW139 sets new standards for helicopter flights. This helicopter is the ultimate expression of power, performance and style.

SPEED

With the cruising speed of 165 knots/306 kph, it is ranked among the fastest helicopters of the world.

HIGH PERFORMANCE UNDER ALL CONDITIONS

The AW139 helicopter provides the highest performance in its class, with its characteristics such as 500 nm/927 km range, 5 hours of endurance and hovering at high altitudes. The exquisite OEI capability of the AW139 ensures extra safety during rapid transport of the personnel. With its power reserve, the AW139 helicopter ensures a performance of superior category A (class 1), when taking off from a helipad (at elevation or at ground level) with maximum takeoff weight. This excellent performance is provided for the purpose of a world-class operation even in extreme hot and high environments or challenging conditions.

The AW 139 helicopter has 2 ea. standard fuel tanks. It is the only helicopter in its class which has the longest range without refueling.

PILOT’S CABIN

Honeywell Primus Epic electronic systems having the cutting-edge technology and large displays operate in coordination with automatic hovering and full-digital electronic engine controlling (FADEC) and four-axis digital automatic pilot functionality, reducing the workload of the pilots. The ergonomic design of the AW139, its excellent usage characteristics and low vibration levels diminish pilot fatigue even further and enhance VIP comfort.

SAFETY

The AW 139 has been designed in order to meet the highest safety standards including JAR/FAR 29 requirements. The fact that the ground clearance of the main and tail rotors has an adequate height ensures safety for people to approach from all directions when helicopter is operating.

LARGE CABIN STRUCTURE

With the largest passenger cabin in its class, the AW139 helicopters provide a highly comfortable and spacious environment for passengers. The cabin design features a comfortable view for its passengers by means of 6 large cabin windows on the one hand, and provides maximum flexibility for seating configurations on the other hand. A wide area is available for accessories such as communication devices, work spaces, catering and storage compartments. The 3.4 cubic-meter / 120 cubic-feet added baggage compartment is easily accessible both from the passenger area and from the outside of the helicopter.
